Rachel Ray and Everyday Magazine Name Apple-Cinnamon Bacon #1

Some bacon varieties are more popular than others, Iowa pork producer Tim Beeler insists.

For example, “everybody has an apple smoked bacon,” he said.

So his company started tinkering with flavor combinations to set its applewood-smoked bacon apart from the crowd, he said.

Cinnamon got the call. And today, Beeler Pork’s Uncured Apple-Cinnamon Bacon is basking in the glory of being named the nation’s best sweet bacon by the magazine Everyday with Rachael Ray.
